ID Card (Polisen)VERY HIGHBook a time for TWO people. Person 1 being your old personnummer and Person 2 being the new one. Current ID, SKV Paper, Proof of Payment & "Attesting Person"Your "Attesting Person" can be a family member, employer, carer or partner, A full list can be found on Polisen's website. OBS - Request the Old ID card/passport back even if it has been physically cancelled if in the event you need to inform other places at a later date

UNITED STATES - Check se.usembassy.gov/passports for what and how you should apply, this can sometimes require a visit to the US Embassy in Stockholm
UNITED KINGDOM - Application must be done though the
gov.uk applications portal, passport will need to be sent back to the UK.
Embassies can only issue ETD's for Emergency Travel, the FCDO does not handle passport applications. Do not contact the British Embassy unless you are applying for an Emergency Travel Document (ETD)
HUNGARY - Due to legislation passed in March 2020, gender marker changes are not possible. There is an ongoing case in the ECJ supported by Háttér Társaság. If you are affected by this legislation, email hatter@hatter.hu who are collecting cases as part of the litigation process. Name changes are subject to the approval of the Ministry of the Interior.
Renuinciation of Hungarian citizenship is possible if you hold multiple citizenships. Consider your EU rights as a priority.

Migrationsverket (Residence Permits)VERY HIGHBook an appointment online at one of their centres, request for one to take Fingerprints and Photo

Free of charge		Old Residence Permit (Will be taken at appointment) & PassportEnsure your passport of your native country is updated correctly.
Inform Skatteverket *first* so their Population Register info matches

After the appointment, it takes up to 2 weeks to arrive in the post

This will not affect your abilility to enter/exit Schengen on the old one following observations at Amsterdam Schiphol & Stockholm Arlanda border control from December 2021.

Visitng your Apotek will confirm the change, or not		To check at Apoteket, Old ID + SKV Paper OR New IDFor Prescription Högkostnadskydd
Locks old account automatically.
Apotek stores will honour prescriptions with an Old ID + SKV Letter.
Online pharmacies such as apotea.se won't work until BankID acquired
To request Högkostnadskydd to be transferred, send an email to registrator@ehalsomydnigheten.se and mention both Personnummers, ideally send a scanned copy of the SKV paper

Parental AttachmentHIGHMake sure your parental status reflects in 1177, schools etc. You need the new personnummmer and new BankID. If your parental status has not automatically updated in 1177 / pharmacies, contact Skatteverket. They need to ensure your profile reflects the status.There's a chance no one is going to know what you're talking about, ask them to continue referring you to someone who does get it.

Jordburksverket (Chipped Pet Registration)VERY HIGHTake a note of the Chip/ID Number of pets which you are the registered owner. After receiving access to your new BankID, you can "change" the pets ownership to your new accountNew BankID to log in to JBV's portal
